Charge Laid After 401 Truck Crash

Chatham-Kent OPP say a charge has been laid against a truck driver after Monday's crash on Hwy. 401.

On Monday morning, police were called to the westbound lanes of the highway near Bloomfield Rd. A tractor trailer had gone out of control and jack-knifed, ending up in the centre median.

The 31-year-old male driver from Brampton was not injured, but was charged with careless driving.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
