Police Respond To Over 15 Crashes In Four Hours

Police are urging drivers to slow down.

Chatham-Kent OPP have responded to over 15 weather-related crashes in a four-hour span on Friday.

Southwestern Ontario was hit with a mixture of precipitation throughout the day. Although the freezing rain period is expected to be over, Environment Canada says snow and windy conditions are expected for Friday night.

"Driving too fast for road conditions is the number one cause of winter collisions," says Chatham-Kent OPP in a media release.
