Rollover On Hwy. 401 Leads To Impaired Driving Charge

A 23-year-old Blenheim man is charged with impaired driving after a crash on Hwy. 401 near Queens Line.

Chatham-Kent OPP say they got a call at around 3:30am Thursday after an eastbound vehicle went off the road and rolled several times into the centre median.

Police say the driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries, but when officers were speaking with him, they determined he had been drinking alcohol.

The driver man was then taken to police headquarters for further tests and later charged with impaired driving. He now has a court hearing scheduled for February 2.
