Bayfield Ag. Society Proposes New Building

Members of the Bayfield Agricultural Society has presented plans for a new building on its property behind the arena.

The ag. society is proposing to put up a new structure that would replace some of their older buildings and give them more storage space, particularly for housing their animals during the agricultural fair.

Bluewater Mayor Tyler Hessel adds there are a couple of planning issues that have to be dealt with at a council meeting in February. One of those involves two unopened road allowances that the ag. society would like to have turned over to them.

Hessel says some of the neighbours have concerns about the location of the new building and that will be discussed at the February meeting as well.
