Old Electronics Scam Is Making A Comeback

Beware! An old scam has made its way back to Chatham-Kent.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers says people have been approached across the municipality over the past several weeks to buy new TVs, stereos, video projectors and camera equipment. Authorities say the suspects often use the story that they are brand new, high-end electronics that are overstocked items and are available at a significantly reduced price.

Police warn that they are junk and if you're approached with this deal, don’t fall for it and call police or Crime Stoppers immediately.
