OPP Seize Illegal Cigarettes After Traffic Stop

A 59-year-old Windsor woman is in trouble with the law after allegedly carrying several cartons of unmarked cigarettes and a small amount of marijuana inside her vehicle.

Chatham-Kent OPP say officers found the cigarettes and the drugs after stopping a vehicle on the Hwy. 401 near Scane Rd. Thursday afternoon.

Police say the cigarettes and marijuana were seized from the vehicle and the woman was charged under the Tobacco Tax Act.
