A man has been charged with careless driving after speeding through Chatham-Kent in snowy conditions.
On Friday at around 9:30pm, a Chatham-Kent OPP officer with a radar gun noticed a vehicle speeding on Hwy. 401 near Charing Cross Rd. Police say the westbound vehicle was driving faster than 130km/hr in a 100km/hr zone.
The officer stopped the vehicle and charged the 24-year-old Mississauga man with careless driving due to the poor weather and road conditions.
