Essex OPP Catches Wanted Tilbury Man

A Tilbury man wanted on several warrants was nabbed by Essex OPP.

Essex OPP arrested a Tilbury man and discovered he was wanted on a number of warrants by the Chatham-Kent Police Service.

It is reported that Essex OPP took the man to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters.

He was arrested for three counts of failing to comply with probation, three counts of failing to attend court, as well as theft and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
