UPDATE: Hwy. 401 Reopened After Tractor Trailer Rollover

Police have reopened the westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 in Dutton following a tractor trailer rollover.

The Ontario Provincial Police reported the crash in the westbound lanes near Dunborough Rd. on Wednesday just before 7pm.

In a Periscope video posted to Twitter, OPP Sergeant Dave Rektor said the tractor trailer went into a ditch, came back onto the road and over-corrected causing it to roll.

The driver only suffered scrapes and bruises and was not seriously injured, Rektor said

The westbound lanes were closed at Currie Rd. to allow police to conduct an investigation and to clear the vehicle from the scene.  The highway was reopened just before midnight.
