Maroons Win Fifth Straight

The Chatham Maroons' hot steak continues.

They picked up their fifth straight victory Wednesday night with an 8-4 win over the Komoka Kings.

Bryce Yetman led the Maroons with three goals and an assist, while teammate Josh King added two goals and two helpers. Dawson Garcia, Dane Johnstone, and Jake O'Donnell scored Chatham's other goals.

The Maroons kept Komoka's goaltenders busy, too, throwing 53 shots on net.

The game was a makeup from earlier this season after the match-up was cancelled due to bad weather.

Chatham is back in action Thursday night as they head to Sarnia to face the Legionnaires in their second last game of the GOJHL regular season.

You can hear tonight’s game on Country 92.9FM / 630AM CFCO or online by clicking here.

Puck drop is set for 7:10pm.
