Max Vinogradov and Kyle Dawson scored twice as the London Nationals doubled up the Chatham Maroons 4-2 Sunday night.

The game at Chatham Memorial Arena concluded the regular season for both teams, and six Maroons players who are "graduating" were honoured before the game.

Chatham got out to a quick lead in the first frame. Bryce Yetman scored unassisted at 2:25 and Alixe Saliba doubled the Maroons lead over two and half minutes later. The Nationals got on the board at 6:08 with Dawson's first score of the evening.

There was no scoring in the second period but each team had three power play opportunities apiece. London outscored Chatham 14-11 in the middle stanza.

Vinogradov scored two back-to-back goals in the third period to extend the London lead, both on the power play. Dawson put in his second puck of the night late in regulation but the Maroons could not score further.

David Ovsjannikov had 34 saves out of 36 attempts in the London win. Ryan Wagner, who played his last regular season game between the Maroons pipes, had 31 stops.

The Maroons will take on the LaSalle Vipers in the first round of the junior-B playoffs. Game 1 of the best-of-seven series is set for Wednesday night at the Vollmer Complex.

The Nationals will have home-ice throughout the playoffs. They will host the Strathroy Rockets in the first round.
