Thamesville Flood Is Receding (GALLERY)

Flood levels in Thamesville have gone down quite a bit from Friday to Monday.

The rushing Thames River was covering half the wall (above) on Friday afternoon. River was about ten feet higher.

Municipal Affairs Minister Bill Mauro says we are on the right side of this when he visited Thamesville Monday afternoon.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
