Man Arrested After Yelling "Pot For Sale"

Police just south of Barrie say a 20-year-old Thamesville man who was yelling "pot for sale" is now charged with impaired driving.

South Simcoe police say they heard from "a number of citizens" that a man who was seen staggering out of a pizza shop in Innisfil at around 9:30pm Tuesday was causing a disturbance.

Officers say when they found the man, he was sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle with the keys in the ignition and a strong smell of alcohol on his breath.

Police say because they suspected that he was drunk, officers took him back to police headquarters for further testing and later charged him with impaired driving.

The man's vehicle was impounded and his driver's licence has been suspended.
