Snowfall Warning Ends

Environment Canada has ended a snowfall warning for parts of southwestern Ontario including London and Middlesex County, Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Oxford County, and Elgin County.

Forecasters were tracking a system that began with rain on Thursday morning was expected to deliver up to 20cm of snow by the time it moves out of the area early Friday morning. They were also warning that strong winds from the north may cause blowing snow and poor visibility on Thursday night.

"Conditions should improve Friday morning as the low-pressure area moves away across Pennsylvania to the east coast," a statement from Environment Canada says. "Although the worst of the conditions should occur during the night, the Friday morning commute will likely still be impacted."
