Tainted Shrimp Recalled

There's a shrimp recall in Canada.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling pre-packaged cooked baby shrimp sold at stores under the Loblaw Companies Limited banner. Some of the Pacific White Shrimp in question could be raw and have harmful bacteria.

Only 300 g bags of 56-65 shrimp per lb are affected.

Affected stores in Ontario are Fortinos, Independent, Loblaws, No Frills, Real Canadian Superstore, Valu-Mart, Wholesale Club, Zehrs and affiliated independent stores.

Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
