Tyler Angle put Windsor on the board first with his tenth goal of the season at 13:39 of the opening frame.

Cody Morgan put up his tenth score of the year in the second period, doubling the score to 2-0 Spits after 40 minutes of play.

Windsor added two more goals in the third frame. Luke Boka picked up his 14th of the season just 47 seconds in, and Luke Kutkevicius provided the Spitfires with insurance later in the period.

Evan Cormier also stopped 20 shots for Saginaw, out of 24 attempts.
