Park St. Drug Bust Turns Up Cocaine, Meth

Chatham-Kent police say a 38-year-old woman is facing multiple drug-related charges after police raided a home on Park St. in Chatham.

Police say they found about $9,000 worth of cocaine, methamphetamine, and morphine while they were carrying out a search warrant at the home on Monday.

Officers say they also seized a large amount of cash and a taser.

A 38-year-old Chatham woman was arrested at the home and charged with three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possessing a prohibited weapon.

She was later released with a future court date.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
