Former NHL Star Loses Battle With Cancer

A former NHL player from Dresden has died after a battle with cancer.

It is reported that Ken Houston died Saturday night at 64 years of age.

Houston played for many teams throughout his career, including the Chatham Maroons, Calgary Flames, Los Angeles Kings, Atlanta Flames, and the Washington Capitals.

Visitation will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home on St. Clair Street in Chatham on Thursday, March 15 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm.

A funeral service will take place on Friday at 12pm at the John D. Bradley Centre on Richmond St. in Chatham.
