Hundreds In CK Public Sector Earn More Than $100,000

The list of top public sector earners in Chatham-Kent has been released by the province.

Topping the 2017 list of hundreds who earn more than $100,000 is Dr. Vishal Chawla with the Community Health Centre. He earned $362,000.

Right behind him are former hospital CEO Colin Patey, who earned $285,000, and current hospital CEO Lori Marshall at just over $233,000.

Dr. Matthew Kennedy with the Community Health Centre earned $250,000.

Other notables include Deb Crawford, new Director of Education at the St. Clair Catholic District School Board, earning nearly $256,000 as a Superintendent, Jim Costello, Director of Education at the Lambton-Kent District School Board, making $206,000 and Stephen Doig, Executive Director of Children's Services, at just over $166,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
