UPDATE: London Man Charged In Crossover Crash

A London man has been charged following a two-vehicle crash involving a transport truck on Hwy. 401 in Chatham-Kent.

Chatham-Kent OPP say on Thursday around noon, the driver of a minivan lost control near Orford Rd. and drove into the back of a transport truck. The minivan then entered the centre median before coming to a rest in the westbound lane.

The driver of the van suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.

The driver of the minivan, a 52-year-old London man, is now charged with careless driving.

One of the lanes on Hwy. 401 was closed for a couple of hours, however, it reopened just before 3pm Thursday afternoon.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
