Chatham Man Attacked By Dog

Chatham-Kent Animal Control Services is looking for a stray dog that bit a man in East Chatham.

Manager Jason Hamm says an unknown dog attacked a 49-year-old Chatham man in the area of Princess St. and Murray St. on Thursday around 6:30pm. He received bite wounds to his right forearm and his left calf.

The dog is described as a medium-sized, pure black dog, resembling a pit bull.

Hamm says the dog ran east on Murray, attacked and ran back westbound on Murray St.

Animal control attended the area but could not locate the dog.
