Wanted Man Arrested

Chatham-Kent police say they've arrested a 35-year-old man who was wanted for several offences including criminal harassment and fraud.

Police say they found him yesterday, arrested him, and took him to the courthouse for a bail hearing.

As a result of that hearing, the man has been held in custody pending a future court date on May 28.

ATV Reported Stolen

Chatham-Kent police say they are trying to track down a green 2005 Suzuki Vison ATV that was reported stolen from a property on Payne Rd.

Officers say it was taken sometime either late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning and was last seen with the Ontario licence plate 19HL9.

Construction Tools Taken During Break-In

Police are appealing to the public for tips after someone allegedly broke into a home under construction on Wellington St. E. in Chatham and stole some tools.

Investigators say it happened sometime between 4pm Wednesday and 8am Thursday.

Officers say two Makita drill sets, a Makita sawzall, a Milwaukee sawzall, a Porter-Cable air nail gun, a Makita grinder, and two Eastwing hammers were all taken.
