Municipality Looks To 'Talk Pot' In Public Forum

Municipal staff are hoping to clear the air before recreational pot use becomes legal.

A public information session will be held in council chambers at the Chatham Civic Centre on June 11. The forum is scheduled to happen at 6pm. It will also be shown on YourTV for residents who can't make it to the event.

Panelists are expected to speak in front of council on several topics regarding the legalization of marijuana. They including enforcement, business licensing, odour mediation, and smoke-free areas.
