UPDATE: Chatham Crash Sends Pedestrian To Hospital

Chatham-Kent police say a section of McNaughton Ave. in Chatham is now open following a "serious collision" involving a pedestrian.

Officers say the pedestrian who was hit was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police were called to the scene at around 8am Monday and have closed McNaughton Ave. between Sheldon Ave. and St. Clair St. for their investigation. Police closed the area to traffic Monday morning and reopened the road around 2pm.

At this point, there is no word on possible charges or a damage estimate.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
