CK Transit Offering Free Bus Rides On Clean Air Day

Chatham-Kent residents can help save the environment while getting to their destinations this week -- all without spending a penny.

All rides on the CK Transit system will be free on Wednesday to celebrate Clean Air Day.

Clean Air Day raises awareness and encourages action on air quality and climate change issues. Municipal officials say residents can show their commitment by participating in activities that contribute to cleaner air, healthier communities, and a better quality of life for everyone.

The 45th Annual Canadian Environment Week is being held Sunday, June 3 through Saturday, June 9.
