Job Opportunities in Tilbury, Wheatley

Job seekers are encouraged to print their resumes for a chance at securing employment.

A job fair for Tilbury and Wheatley companies is being held June 11 from 11:30am-6:30pm.

About 200 jobs are up for grabs. Some of the employers looking to hire include RS Poles, Autoliv Canada, Global Vehicle Systems, Mahle Filter Systems, Presteve Foods, and Lally Ford. The positions available range from general labourers and supervisor, to robot programmer and electrical designer.

“The variety of jobs is encouraging as it shows that local employers see the value in expanding their workforce and investing in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent,” said Geoff Wright, business development specialist.

Applicants are asked to have a resume and be prepared for a short interview.

Those interested can pre-register at eventbrite.ca. The job fair will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 20 Dupuis St., Tilbury.
