Pond Stolen From Backyard On Bloomfield

If you see an artificial pond pop up for sale online in the next couple of days, you might want to ask where the seller got it from.

Chatham-Kent police say they're trying to track down a 3 ft wide pond that was stolen out of someone's backyard on Bloomfield Rd. in Chatham sometime over the past weekend.

Officers say the base was a plastic liner that was dug approximately a foot into the ground.

It had a water fountain, some fish, and a 6-year-old snapping turtle inside.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
