Two Arrests After Two Domestic Assaults

Two Chatham men are charged with assault after two separate domestic incidents Thursday night.

Police say a 42-year-old man is accused of assaulting a woman after they got into an argument.

A 53-year-old man is also charged with assault in connection with a domestic disturbance, but police didn't release any more details about that case.

Both of the accused have been held in custody pending bail hearing.

Wanted Man Turns Himself In

Chatham-Kent police say a 39-year-old man who was wanted for multiple counts of failing to comply with his release conditions, criminal harassment, and failing to attend court has turned himself in.

Officers say after the man turned himself in, he was taken to the courthouse pending a bail hearing.

Police Find Meth During Arrest

A 40-year-old Chatham woman is charged with drug possession after officers allege they found some methamphetamine on her when they arrested her Thursday morning.

Police say she was wanted for failing to attend court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
