Amp, Subwoofers Stolen From SUV

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they try to track down a Pioneer Mono Amp and two 12” subwoofers that were both stolen sometime over the weekend.

Investigators say they were taken sometime either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning from an unlocked Chevrolet Trailblazer that was parked on Cardinal Cres. in Chatham.

The total value of the theft is $1,800.

Impaired Driving Arrest On Hwy. 40

A 23-year-old Chatham man is charged with impaired driving after OPP pulled him over early Sunday morning.

Officers say they pulled the man over on Hwy. 40 near Pioneer Line at around 1:30am and allege that he had been drinking alcohol.

The man was taken to police headquarters for further tests and after that, police charged him with impaired driving.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
