CK Police Find Cyclist Carrying Compound Bow, Pellet Gun

Chatham-Kent police say a 28-year-old man is in trouble with the law again after he was allegedly spotted biking around Chatham with a compound bow and a pellet gun on his back.

Police say they found the man after getting a tip from the public at around 6:30pm on Sunday. The man was reportedly riding his bike on Greenfield Lane with a compound bow and a gun on his back.

When officers caught up with him on Spurgeon Dr., they allegedly found those two weapons on him along with a backpack that had some bolt cutters, some hacksaws, a grappling hook, a screwdriver, a mask, some zip ties, and a wrench set inside.

Officers say the man was released from custody back in January with an order not to carry any weapons, so he is now charged with two counts of failing to comply with his conditions. He's also charged with being in possession of break-in instruments and is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
