Coke, Meth, And Tylenol Seized In Drug Bust

One couple needed more than just Tylenol to cure their headaches as police also found methamphetamine and cocaine on them during a traffic stop.

Four cruisers were on scene Wednesday night at the intersection of Thames St. and Victoria Ave. in Chatham at roughly 10pm. Police said they pulled over a 31-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman and arrested them both.

Officers added they found plastic bags containing all three drugs, along with a crack pipe and silver spoon allegedly containing drug residue on it.

Police said both occupants were arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and the male was additionally charged with two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions. He is being held pending a bail hearing.

The car was impounded and the female was released pending a future court date on July 26.
