Dresden Father Throws Brick At Son's Head

A Dresden dad's hot temper landed him in the slammer Sunday night.

Police say the son was outside of a hotel on Queens Line in Chatham on Sunday at around 6:30pm. According to police, the victim’s father went to the location and tried to punch him.

The victim ran into his hotel room, but his father allegedly broke the glass window of the room and threw a brick at him, striking him in the head.

Police arrived and arrested the father. The victim suffered minor injuries from the assault.

A 55-year-old Dresden man has been charged with assault, mischief under $5,000, and assault with a weapon. He was later released from custody with a future court date.
