Windsor Woman Charged After Rollover Crash On Hwy. 401

A Windsor woman has been charged after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Hwy. 401 in the Tilbury area.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Wednesday at around 1:30pm, the woman was travelling in the eastbound lanes when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a light pole and signpost.  The vehicle then rolled several times before coming to a rest partially blocking the entrance to the OnRoute Service Centre.

The female driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for assessment.

As a result, 67-years-old Gurcharanjeet Johal of Windsor has been charged with careless driving.
