E-bike, Tools Stolen From Shed

Chatham-Kent police have recovered an e-bike, but they're still looking for some tools that were stolen during a break-in at a shed on Colborne St. in Chatham.

Officers say it took place sometime between August 12-14.

Police were able to find the e-bike the same day they were called in to investigate, but they're still looking for about $1,100 worth of tools.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Stan Blonde at 519-436-6600 ext. 85387.

Two Men Arrested For Breaching Conditions

A Chatham man and a Blenheim man have both been arrested after allegedly breaching their release conditions recently.

Police say a Chatham man was released in June with several conditions including orders to obey a curfew, to stay away from a specific residence, and to cease communications with the three occupants who live there.

Officers allege they found the man breaking all of those conditions Tuesday while they were responding to a domestic-related incident.

A Blenheim man is also in more trouble with the law after he was allegedly out past his curfew twice in the past week.

Police say the man was released from custody in June with a curfew condition, but officers say he wasn't at his residence when they went to check on him on August 11 and 12.

Both men were arrested and taken into custody pending bail hearings.
