Chatham Drivers Ignoring 'No Turn' Sign

It looks like drivers in Chatham just aren't getting the message when it comes to when they can and cannot turn onto Thames St.

Chatham-Kent police say over the course of 90 minutes on Tuesday, they handed out tickets to 22 motorists who crossed the Fifth St. Bridge and turned onto Thames St., even though there is a "no turn" sign posted there.

Officers say all of those drivers were charged with disobeying a sign, which comes with a $110 ticket and two demerit points.

One of the motorists was also charged with driving while under suspension.
