High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Chatham-Kent police are looking for a second suspect in connection with a robbery at a Dresden convenience store.
Police say <a href="https://blackburnnews.com/chatham/chatham-news/2018/08/18/robbery-roscos-dresden/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the robbery happened at Rosco's Mini Mart on August 17, around </a>1pm. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the register and police say an employee suffered non-life threatening injuries.
So far police have arrested one suspect. A 27-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with robbery.
Police say they have identified the second suspect, it's just a matter of finding him.
This is the second time in just two years that Rosco's Mini Mart has been the subject of a robbery. <a href="http://blackburnnews.com/chatham/chatham-news/2017/06/20/man-large-dresden-robbery/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">An armed robbery took place at the store in June of 2017.</a>
