Driver Caught Doing 100 km/hr Over Speed Limit

A Windsor driver has been charged with stunt driving in the construction zone on Hwy. 401 in Chatham-Kent.

The OPP say a 20-year-old Windsor man is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, racing a motor vehicle, and failing to surrender his insurance card after an incident on Sunday at around 1:15am near Victoria Rd.

Police allege they clocked him at more than 180 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone.

His driver's licence has been suspended and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
