Dirtbike stolen from shed in Blenheim
Chatham-Kent police say they're looking for leads after someone stole a dirtbike from an unlocked shed on Vasik Line.
Officers say someone broke into the shed between 11 a.m. on August 28 and 7 p.m. on August 29 and took off with a red Honda CRF250 Dirt Bike. It was last seen with the Ontario license plate 32NJ5 and it's valued at $600.

Stereo equipment, hand tools taken from shed
Police are also looking for about $2,000 in stereo equipment and hand tools that were taken from a shed on Drake Road in Raleigh Township.
Investigators say someone forced their way into the shed sometime between 3:30 p.m. on August 30 and 9 a.m. on August 31, causing about $1,000 in damage before taking off with the stolen items.

Charge laid after crash near Tilbury
Chatham-Kent police say one person is charged after a two-vehicle crash on Queens Line near Tilbury at around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Police say one of the drivers was charged with careless driving after their vehicle rear-ended another vehicle.
No serious injuries were reported.

False 911 calls are tying up police officers
Police are issuing another appeal to the public to only call 911 in the case of an emergency.
Officers say the local Police Emergency Communication Centre received 43 false 911 calls in a 24-hour period from Friday morning to Saturday morning.
Police say those false calls continue to pull officers away from incidents that require their attention and they're urging you to only call 911 in the case of a life threatening emergency or if you would like to report a crime in progress.
Any and all other non-emergency incidents should be directed to the police dispatch center at 519-352-1234.
