Host families needed for international students

Local host families for international students are needed, as soon as possible.

Youth for Understanding is seeking volunteer families to welcome a student for both short and long-term placements.

Spokesperson Gordon Perry says they're looking for placements for five highschool students, between 15 and 18 years old.

"We are looking for five families in southwestern Ontario and primarily at the moment we are looking for volunteer hosts in Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent," says Perry. "The five students are from Australia, France, Finland and Sweden. Two of them are for the semester until the end January and the others are full-term until the end of June."
