Update: South Kent barn blaze cause undetermined

Firefighters in Chatham-Kent were on scene of a barn fire Saturday night.

Crews from the Raleigh North and Raleigh South stations were called to a property on Dillon Rd. around 9 p.m. The barn appeared to have burned to the ground.

C-K Fire said in a tweet that there was no home on the property. There were no reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and resulted in $225,000 in damages to the structure and its contents.

*An earlier version of this story said the cause was accidental. C-K Fire has since corrected itself and left the cause undetermined.
