Update: South Kent barn blaze cause undetermined

Firefighters in Chatham-Kent were on scene of a barn fire Saturday night.

Crews from the Raleigh North and Raleigh South stations were called to a property on Dillon Rd. around 9 p.m. The barn appeared to have burned to the ground.

C-K Fire said in a tweet that there was no home on the property. There were no reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and resulted in $225,000 in damages to the structure and its contents.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
