Trailer stolen

A trailer valued at $2,000 was stolen from a residence in Chatham around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Suspects were on ATVs and the trailer was homemade. Police say it last had Ontario marker F5952D attached.

Anyone with information should contact Chatham-Kent police at 519-436-6600 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). A cash reward may be applicable.

Vehicle impounded after impaired driving charge

A Chatham man on a Canada-wide driving prohibition was arrested after committing a traffic infraction. Officers also believe the 52-year-old was impaired at the time.

His vehicle was towed and will be impounded for 45 days.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
