Chatham Maroons add depth up front

The Chatham Maroons have added a pair of veteran forwards to their lineup just days ahead of their season opener against the Strathroy Rockets.

The team announced late Thursday night that they have acquired 18-year-old twins Brett and Kyle Fisher from the Komoka Kings.

Both players spent the 2017-18 regular season with the Kings before joining the St. Thomas Stars for the playoffs.

Brett finished last season with 14 pts in 19 games with Komoka, while Kyle had 19 pts in 18 games with the Kings.

The Maroons also parted ways with 17-year-old Lucas Fancy. They sent him to Strathroy in a cash deal.

Chatham's first game of the GOJHL season is Sunday, September 16 at Memorial Arena with puck drop set for 7 p.m.

The game will also be broadcast live on Country 92.9FM/630AM CFCO.
