UPDATE: Fog advisory lifted for Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex

Dense fog caused some delays for drivers Tuesday morning.

Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex, adding "a Canwarn spotter reported visibility as low as 100 metres near Kent Bridge around 1:45 a.m." The advisory was lifted shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The thick fog prompted some school bus cancellations in Chatham-Kent -- buses in Zone 6 (Ridgetown, Thamesville, Dresden) are cancelled for the morning, but buses in all other zones are running as planned. All of the buses will be running this afternoon.

School buses are running across Windsor-Essex.
