Iconic car stolen from Morpeth storage facility

A Ferrari was stolen last Thursday and police need help to find it.

Crime Stoppers issued a release Tuesday morning reporting a storage facility was broken into on Hill Road in Morpeth overnight on Thursday, September 20.

According to the release multiple items were reported stolen but the most significant was the 1979 red Ferrari 308 GTS. The car's value is listed at $100,000 and is the same model from the iconic 80s show Magnum PI, so it should be easy to spot.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information that leads to the return of the car. If anyone knows where the car is being hidden or the person who has it Crime Stoppers asked they call 1-800-222-8477.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
