List of federal Conservative candidates growing in LKM

The race to replace longtime Conservative MP Bev Shipley is up to at least seven candidates now.

Shipley announced in July that he would not be seeking re-election in the riding of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.

Since then, a handful of candidates have put their names forward to replace him as the Conservative Party of Canada's representative in the 2019 federal election.

Wallaceburg media personality and business-owner Greg Hetherington is the latest hopeful to announce an intention to run for the spot.

He's joining Peter Aarssen, Peter Cuddy, Mattheu Kok, Bruce Lamb, Kevin Mitchell, and Lianne Rood, who have also publicly indicated that they are running for the position.
