Maroons head to LaSalle to face struggling Vipers

The Chatham Maroons will look to get back on track as they head to LaSalle to face the Vipers Wednesday night.

The Maroons are coming off a tough 5-4 overtime loss to St. Thomas at Memorial Arena Sunday where they outshot the Stars 42-34, but allowed two power-play goals in the third period, the second of which tied the game and sent it to overtime.

On the other side of the ice, the Vipers will try to turn their young season around after starting off with just two wins and four losses. LaSalle is also on a two-game losing skid, falling to St. Thomas last week Wednesday 4-2 and Leamington last week Thursday, 6-3.

Wednesday night's game will also mark the first time the two teams face off in since the Maroons eliminated the Vipers in the first round of the playoffs last season.

You can hear tonight's game on Country 92.9FM / 630 AM CFCO -- or you can tune in online by clicking here.

Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
