Chatham Sports Hall of Fame memorabilia stolen during break-in

Police are looking for suspects after a number of items, including two pieces of local sports memorabilia, were stolen from a Chatham home during a daylight break and enter.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers said on October 18, thieves smashed the rear door of a Campus Parkway home and stole cash, two android boxes, and a set of Beats headphones.  A one-of-a-kind Chatham Sports Hall of Fame ring and a one-of-a-kind Chatham Sports Hall of Fame pendant were also stolen.

"The value of the items stolen and the damage to the door are minor compared to the value of the ring and pendant," Crime Stoppers said in a news release.
