$75K raised for CK Hospice

An annual event hosted by the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation has raised $75,000.

The third annual Benefit Gala was held on October 26. The money raised at the sold-out event will go towards operational costs and services provided at the local hospice.

“Our sincere thanks to our guests who attended, the businesses and individuals who graciously donated the many auction experiences and the generous sponsors for their support," said Board Chair Steve Walker in a statement. "Overall, it was an amazing night that demonstrated our community’s compassion and care.”

The evening included an auction, where Carrie Carroll of Chatham walked away with a donated item from Mittons Jewellers in Ridgetown.
