Maroons fall 4-1 to Flyers

The Leamington Flyers beat the Chatham Maroons 4-1 on Thursday to bring their win streak to seven games.

After two scoreless periods, Zach Taylor scored to put Leamington on the board 4:02 into the third, but the Maroons were quick to tie things up with Justin Badour scoring after eight minutes.

Levi Tetrault, Michael Andrews, and Ryan Gagnier each scored in the second half of the final period to give the Flyers the lead and the win.

Goaltender Adam Harris made 36 saves for Chatham out of 40 shots on net, while Flyers goalie Zach Borgiel made 30 saves, letting in only one goal.

The Maroons will head home on Sunday to take on the London National at 7 p.m. And then on December 13, the Flyers are on home ice to take on the Strathroy Rockets at 7:10 p.m.
