Man arrested on warrants

Saturday afternoon police were called to The Beer Store on Richmond Street in Chatham after receiving a report of a suspicious person.

A 35-year-old man was located and arrested on outstanding warrants. He has been released pending a future court date.

Man arrested for public intoxication

Shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday morning, a 49-year-old male was arrested in the Stanley Avenue area in Chatham for public intoxication.

He has since been released from police custody.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
